The American Swallowtailed Kite is an elegant raptor officially listed as an endangered species. The South Carolina Center for Birds of Prey conducts long-term studies to monitor the remaining breeding population which occupies only 20% of its previous range in North America.
The Kite can be worn as a pin or pendant. It measures two inches tall and two inches wide.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this pin goes to benefit the acclaimed Center for Birds of Prey on the South Carolina Coast just north of Charleston.

Spectacular
The Swallowtailed Kite pin is even more impressive in person. I received this as a Christmas gift and I could not be happier. I have collected pins for years but this one is truly art.
